Say It Ain’t So

j.crew

There are a lot of life changes going on in my life lately. And honestly, it makes me more excited more than anything. In 7 months I’ll be married to my best friend. And in less than 29 days I’ll be moving in to my very first apartment with that same man (home decor posts coming to the blog soon!) Also, I recently started my first full time job in the career that I am most passionate about – teaching.

My life is changing at the same time that the seasons are, and this has caused me to stop and reflect on all that is going on.

Alongside the excitement that comes with all of these life changes, I’m also starting to feel slightly overwhelmed. The planning, furniture shopping, and dealing with teenagers can be somewhat stressful. And I constantly ask others, how do you deal with the stress that you’re going through? Want to know what they tell me?

“Just have confidence in what you are doing and make sure to enjoy every second of these changes, because they will be for the better.”

Say it ain’t so….

So, I’ve been keeping my head up and picking up where I left off (I’m sure that you all noticed my week or two of non-posting). I’m moving forward full force keeping my priorities at the front and my passions and hobbies close behind.
