I’ve always been very open about my shopping habits and how much I spend. I feel that it is best to be transparent (unlike these photos…sorry for the blurriness, it happens). When people ask me how much I spend on my outfit, I tell them. Of course when I explain that my entire outfit cost me under $75, their next question is where do I shop because they can’t seem to find the same pieces for the prices that I am mentioning.
Today, I’m here to share that one place that I shop to get great brand name pieces for prices that are guaranteed to keep more money in your pocket.
I’ve been a shopper and seller of ThredUp for over a year now. It was suggested to me by a friend who knew of my shopping habits and how I liked to recycle my wardrobe. ThredUp provides shoppers with brand name pieces for prices that you only see in stores that don’t carry brand name products. And, when you want to recycle your wardrobe, they make it easy to get rid of your old clothes and gives you money/credit to buy new ones.
This outfit would have cost me over $150 total.
My BCBGMAXAZRIA top would have cost me at least $80, and the Sam Edelman ankle boots would have most likely cost me $100 – and this is if both of the items were on sale. So, if have bought this from a department store, I would have been paying close to $200 for only the boots and the top. How crazy!
But instead, the top only cost me $18 and the boots only cost me $28. That’s a 75% saving just from shopping ThredUp.
The clothing comes looking brand new and is of great quality, so I know what I am getting when I make a purchase from ThredUp. It is absolutely amazing and is another one of my go-to stores that keeps my wardrobe updated while making sure that my bank account is not empty.
