A Dress for the Holidays

Holiday Dress For The Winter Season

It’s the holiday weekend! Eeek! If anyone asks me (which they have), I’m most excited about my niece getting her gift on Christmas. Much to my husband’s dismay, I may complain that my niece asks for expensive things, but I get them for her anyway because I just love her to pieces. I love my nephew too…but she’s my niece. It’s just different.

So I’m most likely going to be checked out with the majority of my social media – minus Instagram because it’s the ‘gram – but before check out for the next few days, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite holiday looks that I’m going to be wearing to one of the many holiday parties that are still to come as we move towards the New Years.

This dress is fit for both the holidays and NYE. I’m loving the illusion lace in the center and the open back. And if you never knew, I am very shy when it comes to exposing my back. I have a lot of acne scars so it has taken me a lot to get to this point. But that’s because it’s apart of my new year’s resolution to just go with it and not worry about the little things. Those who judge us on things such as back scars are not worth our time.

But as you prepare your last minute look, I’m sharing some amazing pieces below that can be worn for the belated holiday parties as well as into New Years. And of course, for NYE, if you’re not looking to purchase, I also highly recommend Rent the Runway. It is my go-to for almost any big event that I go to that I need to dress up for.

You can see some amazing NYE dresses and other looks at the bottom of this post. And feel free to share your holiday style tips in the comments. You’ll never know who you’ll be helping through a holiday fashion problem.
