‘Tis the season to be comfortable, classy, and dress fashionably. And honestly, as I always say, dressing your best is the most luxurious of all. With the holidays looking different this year for everyone around the world, many of us may be thinking of just sticking to loungewear for both Thanksgiving and other holiday events. But even if your holiday gatherings are going virtual, like mine are, that doesn’t mean that you can’t still dress for the occasion – and it can all start by just shopping Walmart fashion.

I’ve always been one that loves dressing up for holiday gatherings. Whether it’s Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, or even Valentine’s Day, putting together an outfit that is fit for the season and the occasion is something I just have fun doing. For the holidays where there’s a lot of eating involved, which is most of them in my case, I typically go for outfits that are less form-fitting and constraining so I can enjoy what is all served and not have to skip out on anything.
With many of us being at home and spending the holidays at home, we may be intending to use our budget on purchasing great and amazingly heartfelt gifts for everyone, wrapping them up pretty, and then shipping them to the destinations – and we all know that shipping isn’t the cheapest right now. But that doesn’t mean that you can get yourself a nice little holiday outfit. One of my go-to places that I recommend to everyone to shop for fashionable and affordable looks (along with everything else that you could possibly need EVER such as baby essentials) is Walmart. And the cute, comfy, and stylish looks are plentiful this season.
A STYLE TO WEAR FROM WALMART FASHION FOR THOSE BIG DINNER HOLIDAYS
Big holiday dinners always call for wearing loose clothing. You want to be able to indulge and enjoy Grandma’s delicious carrot cake or that savory ham that always seems to glisten when it comes out of the oven. Though looser is the way to go, that doesn’t mean that you need to hide in an oversized, ugly sweater or settle for just wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt – unless that’s what floats your boat.
Instead, maxi dresses and oversized sweaters that aren’t ugly are the perfect way to go. This tiered maxi dress from Walmart is one that I’ll be sitting in from of the computer camera wearing on Thanksgiving day.

THE PERFECT OUTFIT FOR A HOLIDAY VIRTUAL COCKTAIL HOUR
There have been a number of happy hours and virtual cocktail hours that have hit my calendar this past year. And now that we are moving into the holiday season, I am getting more than just the virtual, Friday, after-work happy hour invitation. Now, I’m getting those ones where it’s the holiday party in the form of a cocktail hour where we can all make our own cocktails, inspire each other, and exchange virtual gifts that we send right over the call or have sent already and now we are getting together to open them and see everyone’s expressions.
With my friends, we have challenged each other to still look our best as if we were getting together for the holiday party in person – whether it would have been at someone’s house or one of our favorite local bars. So if you’re doing the same thing, or even thinking about planning a virtual holiday gathering, there are so many cute looks fit for the virtual cocktail hour such as this tie back shift dress that still allows me to wear slippers since no one can see my feet.

COMFY CASUAL OUTFITS TO WEAR AROUND THE CAMPFIRE FROM WALMART FASHION
Many of us are still opting to head outdoors for some gatherings – socially distancing and staying safe. And that is one of the very few in-person gatherings that I am comfortable attending. Even with it being blistering cold in PA, being able to be around a fire and seeing people is still great. But that means, there’s a huge need to stay comfortable and warm.
When I was shopping at Walmart, the one thing that WAS NOT in short supply was the number of long-sleeved comfy tops, sweatshirts, and sweaters. As soon as I walked past this sherpa sweatshirt, I knew that this would be the perfect addition to my closet to keep me warm around the campfire.
