I’ve had many desk jobs in the past 5 years, and fortunately for me, many of the spaces that I worked allowed for a casual but professional look. This allowed me to show off my personal style
And even as a teacher, there’s dress down Friday where I can throw on a pair of jeans and portray that casual look.
Every woman needs to have a casual workwear outfit and a pair of red sandals. It’s almost essential. There are just certain days where you might not want to put on your blazer or nice dress. Or it could be a Friday at work and you have happy hour afterwards. Happy Hour requires comfortable and casual clothes.
But don’t get me wrong. Just because your casual workwear look has jeans, doesn’t mean that you can’t stand out in the crowd.
Wearing bright colors or pieces that are elegant and class, while still being causal, makes you stand out in the crowd.
For this look, I shopped my favorite stores – Forever 21, American Eagle & DSW.
As a budget shopper, I take my time in finding the pieces that I want to create one outfit. Don’t just try to shop and make it a one stop shop. Because I shopped multiple stores, I created an entire outfit that is under $75 – an outfit perfect for the office.
**Check me out sitting on my Nissan Sentra aka ‘Dory’. I’m saying bye, bye to this car soon. You’ll see why in a few months.**
