Florida is one of my favorite places to get away. I love getting to experience the feel of the tropics without the hassle of leaving the country, and there are so many things to do and places to experience. When planning a trip to Florida, I love to travel to the Florida Keys and Key West. You’ve doubtlessly seen gorgeous Florida Keys photos on your Instagram feed, and if you’re anything like me, it makes you want to book the next flight!

Whether you’re exploring a stunning beach, trying a new restaurant, or setting sail, I’m so excited to share some of my own photos of the Florida Keys to hopefully inspire your own future travels. Most Instagrammable Spots for Florida Keys Photos
1. Take a Parasailing Adventure
Want to spice up your Instagram feed with a little adventure? Go parasailing over the gorgeous blue waters of the Florida Keys. On a clear day, there’s no more beautiful sight, and the bright blues will add a great pop of color to your feed. After all, what’s the fun in going on vacation without trying something new? It’s a memory you won’t forget!
2. Hit Up the Resort Pool
I stayed at the Hawk’s Kay resort, and their beautiful Oasis Pool was perfect for an afternoon of relaxation and some fun insta pics. After all, what’s a tropical vacation without some shots hanging out by the pool on a gorrgeous day? Give yourself an afternoon of self-care AND a great beachy moment for your social media feed.
3. Islamorada Brewery & Distillery
Have you really completed your wrap-up of pictures of the Florida Keys if you don’t include a fun drink stop along the way? Islamorada Brewery & Distillery has delicious, insta-worthy drinks, along with a great atmosphere and space to play games with friends. It’s one of my favorite spots after a day of fun in the sun to hang out, enjoy a great menu, and spend time with friends.
Most Instagrammable Spots for Key West Photos
1. Key West Reefs
Key West is the perfect place to go snorkling. With the crystal clear waters, how can you say no?! And no images are more perfect than ones in which you’re surrounded by blue as far as the eye can see. The reefs are a good decision for your Instagram feed AND your travel itinerary. Trust me – if you’re in Key West, you don’t want to miss them.
2. Jet Ski Tours
Again: when you’re in the Keys, it’s all about the water. What’s more fun than exploring on a jet ski? I went on a tour with Barefoot Billy’s, and we got to adventure around the island to see “millionaire island” where Oprah’s old house is, a house that was used for a part of MTV’s The Real World Key West, and some other popular homes. Exploring on a jet ski is a great way to see the area, and it’s an awesome adrenaline rush!
3. Go On a Sunset Sail
What could be more stunning than a sunset sail in Key West? Some of my favorite photos from my trip to Key West are from this beautiful evening cruise. It really felt like something out of a dream, with the best atmosphere. Trust me – if you want an instagrammable spot, sunset sails cannot be beat.
4. Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory
There’s nothing better than the natural beauty of Key West, and the conservatory is absolutely stunning. As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by the beautiful butterflies flying freely around, the birds enjoying the snacks left for them and the flamingos strutting around. And make sure to watch where you walk, because there are also frogs that tend to cross over the pathways as they make their way to and from the various sources of water.
5. The Hemingway House
Did you know that Ernest Hemingway’s home is located in Key West? This beautiful house is in fact where Hemingway lived, and it is worth a visit. The house itself takes you back in time as you walk through the downstairs and upstairs rooms, the wrap around deck, the pool, and the gardens to see the home that Hemingway enjoyed for so many years. Along with touring the home, you’ll encounter the famous cats that call this house their home. Many of the cats are six-toed cats or polydactyl and are said to be decedents of Hemingway’s cat that was given to him by a sea captain.
