This past weekend, hubby and I had a small intimate gathering with our family and closest friends for a gender reveal party to find out who we will be expecting to join the family this upcoming August. To be honest, I have been impatiently awaiting this day to find out whether we would be having a bouncing baby boy or a tumbling little girl. And it was not for reasons that I just wanted to find out because of a preference, I more have been wanting to find out so that I can begin picking out clothes and nursery decor and add them to our, now almost complete, registry.
SHOP BEAUTY AND THE BEAST GENDER REVEAL DECOR:
My mother and sister put all of this together and it definitely went beyond my original expectations. I was just expecting to walk into a cake on a table with some food and cupcakes, but big sis add some spectacular decorations and didn’t do anything tricky like have a false cake and then come out with something else – she is the type that would do that.
Our gender reveal kept with our ongoing theme of Beauty and the Beast – which matched our pregnancy announcement and will be the theme for our shower.
These past few weeks have been filled with everyone guessing the gender of Baby V and to our surprise…
It’s a BOY!!!
We are so super excited to hear that we’ll be having a little boy joining the Vincent family at the end of the summer. Many of our family and friends had guessed correctly, and I think that the only person that was slightly disappointed was my younger brother who was wanting another niece more than another nephew, but he’s happy either way. I’ll be sharing the house now with four males – hubby, brother, Charlie pup, and now Baby V. I’m strongly outnumbered, but I know that Baby V will always be in my corner.
