A time to dress up in costumes, eat candy, and celebrate all things spooky! Halloween decorations are a key part of the holiday, and there are many different ways to decorate your home for the occasion. It’s never too early to start thinking about your Halloween decorations! If you want to be the envy of your neighborhood, it’s important to start planning early. Not sure where to start?
There are a few things to keep in mind when you’re decorating for Halloween. First, think about what kind of atmosphere you want to create. Do you want it to be frightening? Fun? A mix of both? Once you have an idea of the overall vibe you’re going for, you can start planning your decorations. Some popular Halloween decorations include carved pumpkins, bats, spider webs, and skeletons. You can also incorporate fall decorations such as leaves, corn husks, and hay bales. And don’t forget the lights! Stringing up some orange and black lights is a great way to add some extra ambiance to your home.
You can find these decorations at most stores that sell Halloween supplies. My Favorite shops are Amazon and Target. If you want to get creative, you can also make your own home decorations using craft supplies or even repurposing items you have around the house.
Once you have your basic decorations in place, you can start getting creative with your Halloween home decor. Add some personal touches to your decorations to make them unique to your home. For example, you could use family photos to create a spooky Halloween collage or display Halloween-themed items that have special meaning to you.
Halloween is a great time to decorate your home and get into the spooky spirit. There are a few things to keep in mind when decorating, such as making sure your home decorations are safe and appropriate for your neighborhood.
HALLOWEEN HOME DECORATIONS
Halloween Decor AMAZON FINDS
I love shopping on Amazon for Halloween decorations. Whether it be for indoor Halloween decoration or for outdoor Halloween decorations, I can find almost anything I want to make my home look as spooky as I want. When shopping for some fun Halloween decorations, I typically start with a theme that I want to follow and decide whether I want to go with creepy or scary or keep it cute and match the mood of my house. After I decide on a theme, I tend to also try to narrow down on a color palette so that when searching on Amazon I don’t find myself going down a rabbit hole and getting lost in the many Halloween decorations that you can find.
Another great thing that I love about shopping on Amazon for Halloween is that there are so many great extras that you can find outside of Halloween decorations such as Halloween party decorations, pices to make a DIY Halloween costume, and little things to take your Halloween style up another level such as fog machines and inflatables.

Halloween Decor POTTERY BARN FINDS
When shopping at Pottery Barn for Halloween, I typically go here when I want to keep the look of my Halloween decor more sophisticated and matching to the decor antiesthetic of my home. When shopping on Pottery Barn, you’ll often find yourself finding a lot of Halloween party supplies for entertaining. My favorite things to shop at this store are the glassware because they are so fun.

Halloween Decor TARGET FINDS
Target is my other go-to place to show for Halloween decorations. I used to be someone that would head over to Party City to get a lot of my fun Halloween party decorations, but since I am always in Target anyway, I decided to dive into their seasonal section and found that their Halloween items make for one fun Halloween. There are plenty of great finds for indoor Halloween decorations, and for the one year that we decided to make our home like a haunted house, I found that Target has so many great decorations that are motion sense to make your house so fun but great for a scary Halloween feel.
