Festival season is upon us, and it’s not only an exciting time, but for some, it can be quite confusing. When I first started thinking about going to festivals, the first thing that I thought was: “Where do I even begin?” It’s a great question. I mean, how do you pack? What do you pack? How do you plan a place to stay? What should you wear? There are so many questions, and the answer to those questions starts with preparing early. From clothing to your beauty routine, preparation is key.
For most of us planning to attend festivals this season, tickets have already been purchased. If you haven’t purchased yours as of yet, I would get on it immediately, as they may be very close to selling out if they are not sold out already. And the last thing that you want to deal with is someone who is trying to sell their tickets and charging an outrageous price because they know that there are desperate people trying to buy them.
Once you have tickets in-hand, the fun part begins: planning your festival outfit and beauty looks! When it comes to beauty, many of you already know that I like to focus on the inner beauty and comfort, so that is reflected on the outside. I am not one that likes to wear a lot of makeup during festival season. But I want to make sure that my skin still looks radiant and fresh.

For me, I take Nature’s Bounty® Hair, Skin & Nails gummies to not only prepare for festival season, but all year round. These gummy vitamins help set the foundation to support my natural beauty from the inside and out,* so that I feel healthy and beautiful throughout festival season. With my skin glowing from the inside-out, I don’t feel the need to wear a lot of makeup and don’t typically have to deal with that feeling of makeup melting into my skin in the summer heat.

When you get to the point where you are ready to plan your outfits, my advice is to not only think about the stylish element of what you’ll wear, but also think about being comfortable. Most festivals are primarily outside. And typically, they’ll require you to do a lot of walking. That means you need to make sure that you’re dressed in loose-fitting clothing or clothing that allows your body to breathe. I’ve been around a lot of people who have gone to festivals and have ended up overheating while at the festival. Honestly, you don’t want to be the person sweating and feeling extremely uncomfortable. Dress appropriately (and stylishly!) from head to toe, and make sure that you’re ready for the day.
With the sun/heat beating down on you while at the festival, you want to make sure that your body is not wearing out – or that your beauty look is wilting in the heat. The sun rays can be intense, so it is best to prep your entire body with the right nutrients in order to enjoy the entire experience throughout the many days that the festival lasts. And don’t forget to prepare your hair, skin and nails to ensure they stay vibrant, too*. There are so many things to prepare for, but with a refreshed festival-ready beauty routine, you’ll be ready to take on the entire festival season and see all your favorite artists throughout the spring and summer.
I’m ready for festival season and can’t wait to see all the artists perform, see all of the different styles that the attendees and various celebrities wear, and I’m just ready for this entire winter mix going on in the Northeast to be over. I’m ready for some fun in the sun.
