This time next week, I will be sitting on a plane with my hubby on our way to our honeymoon in Punta Cana. I can’t believe it! To say I am excited is an understatement.
Since we are in the one week countdown, I have been preparing for our trip by washing any clothes we may need, picking up travel size items to take with us, and, of course, picking out some new outfits specifically for those magical beach shots. But the most important thing I have been doing (and this isn’t just for my honeymoon but to become healthy in general) is eating a lot healthier and getting into the gym a little more. And by that, I mean going for a run for about 20 minutes in the morning or until it gets too hot.
In my junk food detox, I have been really missing ice cream. Ice cream is my weakness. I eat it so much and then I try to bulk buy it which makes me eat it more. Then I get guilty and try to stop eating it, but then I waste it because it gets freezer burn, but then I eat it anyway. It’s really bad.
Recently, I was introduced to My/Mo Mochi ice Cream. Now, when it was first introduced to me, I was a little hesitant as I was not familiar with it, but it’s summer and it is a great time to try something new.
My/Mo Mochi is an ice cream snack that is in a type of gooey sugar coating – aka the mochi dough. Now, the one thing with ice cream is that you need a spoon and a bowl, and when it starts to melt you need a napkin in case that it drinks. But with the My/Mo Mochi, you don’t need any of that. You just need your fingers and your craving for a sweet snack.
And with it being a small snack, I am getting my fix of ice cream without over indulging with 6-7 scoops of ice cream. Also, I can eat it absolutely anywhere.
Since I have been busy building the blog and trying to complete my summer bucket list, I am constantly on the go. With the My/Mo Mochi, I can grab a tray of these portable snacks and take it with me in the car. They have become my fun car buddy since my husband is at work and I spend the majority of the day running around by myself – but not anymore! As an ice cream connoisseur, and by that I mean, ice cream obsessor, the ability to take my ice cream anywhere is like a dream come true.
I was able to find My/Mo Mochi at my local Whole Foods and you can too! But if you don’t have a Whole Food near you, there are plenty of places to find your car buddy, late night snack, or secret obsession by simply going here.
