So I caved. I told myself that I was going to wait until July 22 (today!) to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale when everyone else did. But as I kept seeing everyone with early access snag some great pieces at prices that you cannot find outside of this sale, I went and signed up for the Nordstrom Rewards so that I can take part in the early access. About mid-week, I took my chance to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale at my local Nordstrom store in King of Prussia. At first, I tried shopping the sale online, but then began realizing that some of the pieces that I wanted were no longer available online. So I thought that going to the store in-person would give me a better chances of finding things that I couldn’t online. And for me, it actually turned out that I was right. But I’ll get to that in a minute.
Honestly, the sale is one that you can’t beat. There were a lot of items marked down to prices that you can’t find, and won’t find, outside of this sale.
My favorite pieces that I tried on were the Socialite Cowlneck Dress and the Vince Camuto top. The dress comes in a variety of prints and colors such as yellow, striped, etc. And the top also comes in the reverse style of what I am wearing – black background with white print. Both of these pieces can also be worn when the temperature starts dropping. My next visit I’ll be searching for a long cardigan to pair with the dress, and a shorter jacket to pair with the top.
I was truly excited to find these pieces at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale since I am replenishing my wardrobe with new items to wear to my new job as a high school teacher.
I highly recommend going to the store and trying on the items before you buy. And also, the other reason that it is best to shop the store is because some of the items sold out online that you may want might actually be there or can be ordered from another Nordstrom. I went in seeking a Chloe and Katie embroidered top in black, and though it wasn’t in the store, they found it for me at another store. So, I bought it and it is being shipped to my house.
