This post is sponsored by Sprouts Farmer’s Market. Thank you for supporting the brands that make LivingLesh possible. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
We aim to live luxuriously, and if you don’t know already, that also means healthy living. I’ve been a huge advocate of healthy living since I could control what would be dropped on my plate. (Momma, I love you, but you didn’t always serve me the healthiest food). With my want to live in luxury, I am always looking for stores that will promote my way of healthy living, which is why I am super excited to introduce to you a new store coming to Philly in a couple of weeks – Sprouts.
I have been talking to my husband for months about eating more organic. Especially because doctors have been telling me that some of my health concerns can be naturally remedied by eating a lot healthier and staying away from food that carry hormones. For those who don’t know, some of the basic meats that you shop in certain grocery stores have hormones that are still within the food due to the hormones being given to the animal for growth, or it is in the food due to the manufacturers trying to preserve the food. But that is neither here nor there. Back to talking about Spouts coming to Philadelphia.
To be a little more specific, Sprouts will be popping up in Center City on Broad & Washington. And it going to bring a whole new look to how we shop for our groceries.
Now Introducing…
Sprouts is a healthy grocery store where you can shop mostly all of your organic needs at an affordable price. The Philadelphia location will be opening September 19th which will mark Pennsylvania as the 19th state to have a Sprouts location.
To give you a brief background of the brand – Sprouts provides shoppers with the ability to shop fresh produce, bulk foods, meat and seafood that is all-natural and never frozen, baked goods, and also a section where you can shop household items and personal care. It’s a one stop shop for all of your healthy living needs.
Healthy living doesn’t have to be something that you think of and automatically assume that it is going to be way bigger of a bill than what you already shop. With Sprouts, you’ll be shopping organic, luxury, and affordable – which I will openly admit is right up my alley. Sign me up. Wait, I already have. So what are you waiting for?
Details on the Sprouts Opening
Sprouts will be opening its Philly location on September 19th at 7 a.m. The first 200 shoppers in line will receive 20% off their purchase which, in looking at the prices and other ways to save, will leave your bill lower than you could ever imagine.
More perks of shopping on the days of the grand opening include muffin and coffee samples served to everyone in line, every 15th shopper in the check-out line receiving a coupon book, and every customer receiving a free reusable bag with purchase.
Now, I know that 7 a.m. on a Wednesday may not be completely do-able for all of us with it being a work day, but don’t completely throw off the idea because the weekend offers many additional perks when shopping at Sprouts.
On Saturday, the 22nd, the first 200 shoppers who make a purchase will receive a coupon booklet for five free deli items. And on Sunday, upon checkout, every 15th customer will receive a coupon for $5 of more than $15 during a following visit.
With all of these perks for the first day/weekend of shopping, you want to make sure to get there and grab the freshest food that you’ll want to immediately add to your pantry. I already have a few of these items integrated into my own recipes and hubby has noticed the change in how much lighter he feels when he eats. But the taste is still amazing.
Ways to Save
Don’t fall into the myth that shopping organic is something that is way out of budget. Sprouts offers to many ways for you to save and your cart may even end up being less than what you would spend at your other grocery stores.
I have previously visited other organic markets and found that, though I loved how amazing I felt after including these items in my own food, it wasn’t quite fitting my budget. So I went back to my typical grocery store and gave up on the healthy, clean eating. But with Sprouts, there are so many ways to save that you won’t have to worry about that at all.
Save on Produce
Sprouts is famous for its farm-fresh produce, which is priced on average 20 to 25 percent below supermarket prices.
