Bud & Marilyn’s

1234 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

Located on the corner of 13th and Locust, you’ll find Bud and Marilyn’s – an eclectic restaurant that brings your amazing American inspired tastes that will fill you up so you are comfortable, but won’t leave you feeling overwhelmed by the amount of food in your stomach so that you still have the comfort to explore the city.

Even by just checking out Bud and Marilyn’s website and social, you’ll be drawn in by the plates, and I will tell you that they are just as delicious as they look if not more. During our visit, we enjoyed their take on the Old Fashion along with a super tasty Moscow Mule. For food, you’ll get fresh and flavorful plates presented to you. I enjoyed the salmon and my picky husband enjoyed the lamb stroganoff which he said was quite tasty. If you’re bringing the kids along, they have a few options for little ones including chicken fingers and fries that look like they are plates meant for the adults – so it also gives you an additional plate that you can pick off of.

The ambiance of Bud and Marilyn’s is what will leave you wanting to sit there and sip on more cocktails throughout the night. It is low lit at night and provides a feeling of comfortable disconnection from the world. When we sat there enjoying our dinner, it was as if time stopped and all the noise and rush of the city just faded away.

If you’re staying at the Guild House, this restaurant is only one block over so you won’t have to worry about walking too far or having to grab your car and find another place to park.
