Please Touch Museum
If you’re looking for family fun in Philadelphia, the Please Touch Museum is a must-go destination. This interactive museum is for all ages and has so many exhibits for little ones to experience and interact with that you could spend all day there. Not only are there interactive exhibits, but there is an indoor carousel, places to eat, as well as various events that take place such as demonstrations and story time.
Our son absolutely loves the Food & Family part of the museum where he is able to head into a miniature size market to shop or act as a grocer. He can even head over into the kitchen and cook the groceries that he just “purchased” from the story and complete the home cycle. He also loves the water exhibit where he can see how boats, ducks and other objects float on water, and for me, I love taking him to the Alice and Wonderland exhibit because it brings back a sense of nostalgia while also being near a fun tree house.
Let your family’s imagination run wild while you’re at the Please Touch Museum. And as a tip, make sure to go online and purchase a ticket / make a reservation since it is currently required for everyone ages 1 and up. Also, there is street parking in the area but during the day it can fill up quickly. The museum does have a parking lot that you can get paid access too, but you have to purchase the parking access prior as well.
