One thing that I highly recommend is making a reservation. We had planned a date night in the city, and waited until the night before to make a reservation and this restaurant was booked. After some consideration, we decided to take a gamble as a walk in and at first they didn’t know if they could seat us, but we happened to just be there at the right time, which they say is rare. They do end up turning walk-ins away at times because of how busy this restaurant gets. The bar itself has a few seats, but it is not vast, so you are really interested in coming to South Kitchen, make sure that you make a reservation at least three days ahead of time. Overall, I would highly recommend that you head to South Jazz Kitchen and let the rhythms of jazz and the flavors of the South take you on a journey you won’t soon forget.
