The Garden Restaurant at The Barnes Foundation

2025 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy, Philadelphia, PA 19130

During your time at the Barnes Foundation, you’ll want to make sure to stop by the Garden Restaurant. We have been there twice – once during a visit to the Barnes Foundation and once just to have brunch at the Garden Restaurant.

From walking into the Barnes Foundation, you’ll check-in and head over to the right to enter into the restaurant where on display you’ll see the different options of food, desserts, and drinks. Right there, you’ll put in your order and then you can either choose to take a seat inside or head out into the garden area to have your meal in the fresh air. The culinary staff will bring your meal right to you “hot off the grill” as each meal is made to order.

Depending on the time of year that you go, you’ll find different specials offered. But I will admit, I’m a sucker for their fries. Whatever seasoning they are using has me hooked. Even more, the different hot meals that I have tried each time that I went haven’t been a disappointment at all.

During our last visit to the Garden Restaurant, I was able to enjoy their Grilled Salmon BLTA that was hot, fresh, and tasted, unlike any other salmon BLT that I had before. And the time before, that I was happy to be able to imbibe in the seasonal cider mimosa that was available for order.

So if you’re looking for a fresh meal combined with a calming atmosphere, I recommend the Garden Restaurant.
