The Guild House

1307 Locust St, Philadelphia, PA 19107

Philadelphia is a place full of history and if you are looking to be surrounded by history during your visit to the city, then you’ll want to stay at The Guild House – a boutique hotel that is a restored National Historical Landmark centered right in one of the busiest neighborhoods in Philadelphia.

Staying at the the Guild House is something that will leave you feeling as if you have stepped back into time and entered into home where you feel comfortable and as if you are at home. With their touchless entry, you’ll feel as if you are walking up the front steps to your own home and entering to find your room in this immaculate hotel. On the first floor, you’ll find the Library – an area where you can lounge with other guests as well as rent out to host your own private party.

When booking, you’ll be able to choose from one of the twelve suites that are named in tribute to the women of the New Century Guild. Each room is decorated with a unique aesthetic and, depending on the suite, you may find yourself with a sitting area, kitchenette, and other amenities. Also during your stay, you’ll be provided with complimentary amenities in your room such as tea, coffee, water, robes, and more that are placed in your room to meet your needs after completing a survey that is sent to you right before your stay by the concierge. Additionally, the concierge is committed to making your stay super comfortable and is available via text so that you can contact them with any needs that you may have.

The Guild House is conveniently located near various parking garages, lots, and valet so that you don’t have to worry about searching aimlessly for parking during your stay and is located near quite a few restaurants and shops that are in walking distance such as Bud & Marilyn’s which is located right on the next block (2 minutes walking). The Guild House is a hotel that I would highly recommend staying at whether you’re visiting or a local to the city especially to experience the history and to have frequent stays so that you can experience each of the rooms.
