This post has been sponsored by SheaMoisture. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
There have been a lot of posts that I have shared with you all about taking care of your skin. And most, if not all, of those posts have been about skincare routines that only focus on the skin on your face. But what about the rest of our body? Is it not as important because we cover most of it up day-in and day-out? I don’t think so. It is just as important because it’s our skin, and we want to feel good all over.
So today, I’m sharing a few tips on skincare that focuses on the entire body and your soul. Think of it as a “Body, Face, Soul” treatment that keeps your outside looking healthy while also soothing your worries, thus helping you.l. I mean, my soul can’t be content if I am constantly worried about whether my skin is healthy and what blemishes could pop up at the absolute worst time. So with that, I am sharing my tips, and my skincare focus is about going back to my roots which was made easy with SheaMoisture.
Many of you are probably already familiar with SheaMoisture. I know that their hair care products are my go-to because of the amount of natural moisture that the products put back into my hair. Every time that I went to grab a hair care product from the brand, I would also notice the other skincare, face and body products that were on the shelf as well. Recently, on one of my trips to Walmart, I decided to grab a few of the skincare products. My body is my temple and I like to make sure it is taken care of from head to toe, using the SheaMoisture African Black Soap collection. I have been using the SheaMoisture African Black Soap bar soap and the body wash. I have also been using the African Black Soap Facial Wash & Scrub for when either I take a bath (with bar soap) or shower (with body wash). The SheaMoisture African Black Soap products are great for doing just that. I have been using the SheaMoisture African Black Soap in the bar form and the soothing Black Soap Body Wash. I’ve also been using the African Black Soap Problem Skin Facial Wash & Scrub for when I either take a bath with the bar soap or take a shower with the body wash. These specific products are great for troubled or blemish-prone skin and as these are made with natural and certified organic ingredients. What is great is that they do not irritate my skin. So for those who have sensitive skin that is easily irritated, this collection could definitely be an option.
Most importantly, most products are infused with the ingredient of Shea Butter. The power house ingredient helps to hydrate and nourish skin.. Shea butter, for those who don’t know, helps in soothing the skin while healing and hydrating for skin longevity.
The African Black Soap also includes palm ash, tamarind extract and plantain peel which are products that have been used in Africa for centuries to treat various type skin types. So with some of my family members, including my mother, having some hereditary skin conditions, I like to have these products already in my skin care regimen for preventative measures or for treatment measures if I were to ever have those conditions come to be.
You can find all my favorite SheaMoisture products at your local Walmart in the beauty and hair aisle. Additionally, there are these amazing promotions going on so that you can stock up on the SheaMoisture products.
