Today is the day! Sprouts Farmer’s Market has finally opened it’s Philadelphia location and it is everything that you would want it to be. I had the pleasure of heading into the store yesterday for a tour of the location on Broad Street. And I will say, that I have a new outlook on shopping healthy. If you are like me, you may have fallen into the trap of thinking that eating organic is expensive and a slightly “uptight” way of living. But it is not! You don’t have to be a “health nut” and you don’t have to be a person who gets up and runs every day. Eating healthy is a mentality and with Sprouts Farmer’s Market, the store is focused on bringing food that is grown locally and is a place where you can buy your favorite eats while also introducing you to new ones.

In my previous post introducing you to Sprouts Farmer’s Market, I gave you all the nitty-gritty details on how you can save and the various days this week that you should go to the store to shop in order to get the most out of the initial shopping experience at Sprouts.

Sprouts in Philadelphia is located in a prime location on Broad Street where the traffic decreases as you get closer, and it is open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. For me, being a shopper that doesn’t necessarily live in the city and typically drives more than I take the train, I was super excited to find that Sprouts does have it’s own parking in a garage right behind the store, making it super convenient to drive to, shop, and be out on your way. So, don’t let the daunting thought of driving into the city keep you away.

During my shopping experience/tour at Sprouts yesterday, I was super excited to find that Sprouts has an in-house butcher, as well as other very knowledgeable individuals, within the store to help you get exactly what you are looking for. I am constantly looking for new ways to cook certain foods, and I’m constantly looking to change things up. So by having those experts there to give me ideas and point me in the right direction was something that I was very excited about when I visited.

Additionally, I was super happy about the extensive beauty and health section that Sprouts has. Typically, when going into a grocery store, you’ll only have access to one aisle that contains any beauty or health products. But within Spouts, you’ll find an extensive selection of beauty and health products for each and every need. At one point, my husband looked up and said: “I should have just waited to get my vitamins here. There are so many more options.”

He’s one that is excited about the vitamins while I am happy about the juices. There is a large variety of different types of healthy juices in flavors such as papaya and tangerine – which you cannot always find at your local supermarket. So, that’s a big plus. I can say, for sure, that Sprouts is going to be one of our main shopping locations.
