Many people feel like it’s hard to wear sweater dresses because if they don’t fit perfectly, they can quickly feel a bit shapeless. Wearing a belt adds instant definition and shape, making the look super flattering. Belts are a fabulous accessory, and I love that they can switch up a look in seconds. Some sweater dresses even have a belt already attached, which makes life even easier!
MAKE IT SPORTY
One of my favorite outfits for a casual day out in early autumn is pairing a sweater dress with my favorite pair of sneakers. I love that it makes the sweater dress work for everyday wear, and when it’s still early enough in the season that you don’t need tights, it’s a great simple outfit for errands, shopping, or lunch with friends.
ANKLE BOOTS, BABY!
No matter the length of your sweater dress, ankle boots are a great choice. They’re perfect for fall, and they add an elevated touch to your overall look.
