Unlike many people, I have the summer off. But that doesn’t mean that I take the summer off. There are so many things that I need to get done. From managing this blog to finishing projects in our apartment, I am still expecting to have a busy time working this summer. With things happening with my blog, I will also have times that I need to head into the “office” or go to meetings in order to keep the blog growing and providing you all with amazing things. So as I get ready for those office days, I decided to share some inspiration for summer workwear.

In the past, I’ve worked during the summer. I would find offices that need someone to work during the summer while other employees take their summer vacation. What I found in those instances is that many of employers allowed for a more relaxed dress code – and maybe that happens with your job as well.

So what look do you go for?

For my summer look, I like to make sure that I’m comfortable but also dressed for the blasting air conditioning in the office. Light fabrics that are loose are great for the summer work wear. With it being loose, it allows for your body to breathe but also keeps you clothed so you are not freezing and falling victim to your goosebumps.

One of my summer work wear looks is this cheetah print tunic from VICI and a pair of comfy jeans.

To dress up the look, I add my Kristin Cavallari peep toe booties from Chinese Laundry and a pair of statement earrings – this gorgeous pair is from Lisi Lerch.
