There are so many posts out there that tell you what to wear to a wedding. I’ll admit that I have featured one or two myself. The thing to pay attention to is that all these posts (including mine) show you how to be the best-dressed guest at a wedding…emphasis on the wedding. During my own wedding search, I took a stop by David’s Bridal to find dresses for my bridesmaids, and during my search, I found myself picking out dresses for myself.

David’s Bridal is known for its ease in shopping and its marvelous selection of wedding gowns and special occasion dresses.
While reading these posts, you might think: “what about all the other events that I go to?”
I’ve asked myself that very thing when reading some of these posts.
And what about those who are attending events that go along with the wedding, but aren’t the wedding. Events such as the bridal shower, the brunch, the reception of the family, or the day-after BBQ. As a bride myself, I constantly am searching for what to wear to all of these other events, because these other posts are only telling me how to dress for the wedding!
So, if you’re like me, and you’ve been wanting to be the best-dressed guest at all of the events, you want to make your search for what to wear easy and find a piece that you can wear more than once.
I found the solution and it was closer to me than I originally thought.

My trip to David’s Bridal (separate from my bridesmaids’ appointment) to find my special occasion dress was one to be remembered.
I visited the newly re-opened David’s Bridal in Feasterville where upon entering, I was introduced to my personal stylist – Lakesha – who helped me find a dress particular to my style and my fit.
The Feasterville location is one unlike many others. It features a modern aesthetic and includes tall, wide mirrors and gorgeous chandeliers in the fitting area that makes you want to live there forever. Honestly, I need the individual who designed the Feasterville location fitting room so that he or she can design my personal closet. I could live there!
I tried on so many gowns and loved each and every one of them.
Can you guess which one I picked?
Find out at the end of the post!
Mock Two-Piece Ball Gown with Printed Skirt (wearing a size 2)
Navy Illusion Cutaway Jersey Gown with Caviar Beading (wearing a size 2)
Merlot Long Halter Lace Dress with Illusion Cutout (wearing a size 4)

Long Lace Dress with Mesh Godets in Red (wearing size 2)
White Organza Wedding Ball Gown
Of course, I couldn’t leave David’s Bridal without trying on a gorgeous gown. As said in a previous post, I have already found my wedding gown, and though I didn’t get it from David’s Bridal – it was a destination that I have been shopping at for literally everything else including bridesmaids dresses, accessories, flower girl dresses, and anything else you can think of that a bride would need.
And again, David’s Bridal is just not for the bride. Once you find your perfect dress for any occasion, you’ll be able to find your perfect accessories to go with.
