VALENTINE’S DAY OUTFITS FOR WOMEN
Going Out INTO THE CITY
For a Valentine’s Day outfit for going out in the city, I highly recommend shoes that you can take on and off quickly. If you keep some flats in your purse, you can switch them off for walking and then put them back on when you get to your location. And then with the rest of the outfit, make sure that it is something that allows you to walk and stay warm – which is why I am huge on wearing pants for this kind of occasion. It keeps you warm for walking in the colder weather and you don’t have to worry about any gust of wind lifting your dress up as you try to get to your destination.
Then for the top, show a little skin with an off-the-shoulder look or even a cold shoulder looks. Since you’ll be covered up with pants and closed-toed shoes, keep it sexy and show a little something-something. I’m a big advocate for the off-the-shoulder look since it shows just a little more skin, and there are tops you can get to make them off the shoulder that isn’t fully intended to be, so double the look with one piece.
Going Out TO A FANCY RESTAURANT
For a Valentine’s Day outfit for going to a fancy dinner, you can’t go wrong with a full-length ruched mesh dress. What I love about this kind of dress is that it screams fashion statement but looks and feels breathable with the ruched mesh. When it comes to choosing the perfect outfit for your Valentine’s Day dinner date, there are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind.
So first, you’ll want to dress in something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. Second, keep the accessories small and to a minimum. Third, I always like to keep my makeup simple with a statement dress like this.
Going Out WITH FRIENDS
Spending Valentine’s Day with your friends means the activity possibilities are endless. From getting together for a movie night, going out to dinner, or possibly going to a show trying to find an all-encompassing outfit ready to pivot from activity to activity can be hard. That’s why I love a well-fitted jumpsuit.
A jumpsuit is perfect for that dressed-up but casual and comfortable feel. From sexy red jumpsuits to playful print jumpsuits, there is something for everyone. Jumpsuits are easy to style for day and night activities by pairing the right shoes and accessories.
So if you’re spending Valentine’s Day at a winery go for a chunky sandal and an oversized hat to give off that more casual feel for a day outfit. If you’re heading to a Valentine’s Day evening show with your girlfriends dress the look up with your favorite boots and earrings to make a classy statement. The possibilities are endless.
Going Out DANCING
Date night or single ready to mingle? One of my favorite Valentine’s Day activities is going out dancing. Some staple clothing looks and Valentine’s Day outfits for women for spending your Valentine’s Day on the dance floor is a strap dress. A pink or red strap like this Chantell Tie Strap Dress is a perfect staple for any activity for Valentine’s day.
What I love about this kind of dress is that it’s is easy to wear and will fit any body type. They give off a gorgeous neckline that will show off your skin without being too revealing. Adorn yourself with it along with a chic pair of shoes and classy jewelry and here you go with your cute killer look.
When it comes to styling for Valentine’s day you can’t go wrong with staples. From a little red or pink dress to a printed jumpsuit. Pair it with some heels and a statement necklace for a look that will wow your date or your friends.
So whatever you’re doing this Valentine’s Day, make sure you look and feel your best. Confidence is truly the best accessory.
