Winter Wear: Simple but Chic

DSC 0152

MY COMFORT, MY WINTER WEAR

Let me say that I often have a harder time shopping for winter wear. The cold weather has me wearing every piece of clothing that is made of very thick cotton (or other materials that are long, warm and comfortable), and I often don’t feel that stylish. But in this outfit, I truly feel that I’ve broken from that insecurity and added a little edge to my winter wear collection.

Though, I had previously talked about breaking the trend of dark and neutral colors for the Winter season, I am going to admit that from time to time it is okay to fall in line with the trend for the purpose of comfort and in the name of all that is chic.

My everyday wear has to consist of items that are comfortable. And in this outfit, I feel comfortable and stylish. With a long sleeve shirt and my favorite American Eagle jeans, I can move around flawlessly without feeling as if something is too tight or is irritating my skin. I am especially attached to my long hooded vest that adds an extra edge to the outfit, while also providing some warmth. I feel comfortably chic in my outfit & I am proud to have this as an ensemble in my winter wear collection.
